A smooth vanilla cold brew topped with rich, flavored cold foam made using a simple 3-2-1 method. This café-style drink is easy to make at home and endlessly customizable with your favorite syrups.

Ingredients

For the Coffee

  • 1 cup (8–12 oz) cold brew coffee (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1–2 tbsp vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)

  • Ice cubes

For the Flavored Cold Foam (3-2-1 Method)

  • 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream

  • 2 tbsp milk (whole or 2% for best stability)

  • 1 tbsp flavored syrup
(Caramel, Salted Caramel, Hazelnut, or Irish Cream)

Optional Toppings

    • Ground cinnamon or cocoa powder

    • Caramel or chocolate sauce

    • Flaky sea salt (especially good with salted caramel)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coffee base
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the cold brew and stir in the vanilla syrup until fully combined.

  2. Mix the cold foam
In a small jar or glass, combine the heavy cream, milk, and flavored syrup.

  3. Froth the foam
Use a handheld frother for 30–60 seconds until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes thick and velvety.
No frother? Shake vigorously in a tightly sealed mason jar.

  4. Assemble
Gently spoon or pour the cold foam over the vanilla cold brew.

  5. Garnish
Finish with your choice of topping for a café-quality presentation.

Tip:
For extra-thick foam, chill your cream and milk before frothing. Cold ingredients produce better texture and longer-lasting foam.
